The Zutons and KT Tunstall are just two of the acts appearing at Thetford Forest this summer and the Ely Standard has two pairs of tickets to give away.

We have one pair of tickets for The Zutons on June 5 and one pair of tickets for KT Tunstall on June 6.

The past three years have been a whirlwind for rock chick KT Tunstall who has become an established artist on both sides of the Atlantic.

Her debut album Eye To The Telescope has sold more than four million copies world-wide and critical acclaim includes a Brit Award, for Best British Female Solo Artist; an Ivor Novello Best Song award Suddenly I See and a Q Award of Black Horse and the Cherry Tree. Support for the gig comes from Tom Baxter.

• KT: Posh loves the spotlight
Posted by Jess on 16 Apr 2008

KT Tunstall has revealed she couldn't live the celebrity lifestyle of Victoria Beckham.

The Scottish singer believes Spice Girl Beckham enjoys being famous, but said life in the headlines isn't for her.

Tunstall told the ITV website: "I look at someone like Posh Spice and she seems to really enjoy it and relish life in the spotlight, with a celebrity husband. I never read about her moaning about it.

"People say 'Oh, she looks pretty sad today' and I think, 'No, that's just her pouty face'.

The 32-year-old added: "But she seems to genuinely enjoy that life. I would hate that - that's my idea of total nightmare!"

Tunstall recently admitted she is a huge fan of the Spice Girls and had to have her ears checked for tinnitus after seeing the group perform at the O2 arena.

KT Tunstall has spoken of her shock at being invited to meet the Dalai Lama.

The Edinburgh-born star said the invitation to meet Tibet's spiritual leader had come through her manager.

The 32-year-old performer said: "I got an e-mail from my manager, the subject of which was the Dalai Lama, and the message said 'He wants to meet you.'

"I was like, 'What?' I'm so excited – it's very weird."

I have a new layout on the site. Although I loved the last one (the Danielle Levitt pictures are stunning) I wanted spring/summery colours!

Thanks to Mel for her design genius and Dan for coding it! Although I still have a few pages to code and sort out, including the forum, so please bare with me as I haven't been feeling well!

Ahead of her biggest ever home gigs, KT Tunstall shares some domestic secrets with Craig Mclean

SITTING IN her London kitchen with a mug of tea, Katie "KT" Tunstall is, in every sense, sparkling. Having toured the world practically non-stop for the last three-and-a-half years, the singer-songwriter from St Andrews is about to see more of her dreams come true: this month she officially becomes an arena-sized artist at home, playing her biggest-ever Scottish concerts, at Glasgow's SECC and Aberdeen's AECC.

Size, of course, is no indicator of talent. But it is an indication of appreciation, and 32-year-old Tunstall - from her days living on the dole with folkies in Fife cottages, to busking in Edinburgh - has worked long and hard to have people listen to her music. Winning the 2006 Brit Award for Best British Female Solo Artist is all well and good, but Tunstall is - in a bums-on-seats, hands-in-the-air, singalonga-KT kind of way - a people person.

Her second album, Drastic Fantastic, is selling well all over the planet. It will have to go some way to catch up with the five million sales of her debut, 2004's Mercury-nominated Eye To The Telescope, but, to be fair, it has only been in the shops since September. When you promote your records as hard as the perennially-gigging Tunstall - and when it took you until almost the age of 30 to become a success - you're always thinking about the long haul. Hi Everybody,

So, today I was going to add some new images to the gallery. And I can't, it won't let me. I haven't actually added any since I moved servers, so I'm guessing it must be connected to that somehow.

So, I've had to install a new gallery, which means I will have to move close to 10,000 images!

You can still view the old gallery, but please understand my frustration at this and know I am not being a lazy webmistress!
